In February 2021, we were excited to welcome a long-time Keystone partner, and fellow Marshall County agency, Morrow Insurance Agency, to the Miller Insurance Group family.

Fred Morrow founded Morrow Insurance in 1953. Fred started the business out of his home with the help of his wife, Shirley, and one year old son, Doug. In less than a year, he added enough clients to move into an office located 123 E. LaPorte St., Plymouth, IN where it operated until 1984. Lowell Greenlee joined the agency in 1967 and became part-owner.

Fred’s son, Dave, joined the agency in 1983 after graduating from Indiana University. He participated in Westfield Insurance’s intensive insurance training program on-site in Westfield, OH. The agency moved to 112 S. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN in 1984. The agency’s growth was steady through the 1980s. In 1990 Fred retired from the agency, followed by Lowell in 1991. Prior to their retirements, Dave and Chris Morrow purchased the agency in 1989.

When Dave joined the agency in 1983, he was the fifth employee. Chris ditched the noble and much more difficult job of “Stay at Home Mom” and joined the agency in 2003. The agency steadily added more staff and the need for more office space grew. The agency constructed the current office location at 850 E. Jefferson St., Plymouth, IN in 2005. This is where the office continues to operate today, and plans to into the future.

The agency was successful because they always put the customer first. The agency employees prided themselves with an abundance of insurance knowledge, experience, and professionalism.

As Dave and Chris approached retirement it was important for them to choose the “right” partner to continue to fulfill this promise to their clients and the team they built that became their extended family. We are excited Miller Insurance Group is who they chose as this partner.
